The TMS mobile x-ray unit family covers, in the
variety of its models, all the characteristics of the radiographic examinations
at the patient bed, when he cannot reach the Radiology Department, like
Intesive Care, Plaster Room, First Aid, Paediatrics or Operating Theatre in the
post-operative phase.
The three versions differ both for mechanical
performances and for radiographic values (TMS4-4Kw / TMS300-30kW / TMS300R with
rotating arm ± 90°- 30kW), by keeping anyway an absorption of energy from the
mains, always within the limits of a standard mains plug.
This mobile x-ray unit achieves very short
exposure times and consequently it gets radiographic images non aff ected by
problems of loss of resolution due to the patient movement, even for
examinations where a very high dose level is required.
A microprocessor controls all the operations and
man ages all the parameters for a correct exposure
and for an immediate trouble shooting. Moreover, the constant linearity and the
high reproducibility assure to keep the emitted dose within minimum levels.
The APR system allows a very simple and easy use
of the unit, by the storage of the most used parameters. An homogeneous weight
distribution and a very low barycentre allow, together with a noticeable
stability, a very easy manoeuvrability.
A suitable multi-level rotating collimator,
which is provided with a lamp centered by a special tilting mirror, allows a
correct targeting before the X-ray exposure. A retractable tape meter, located
into the collimator housing, allows a fast and easy reading of the set
Focus-Film-Distance. A wide rear space gives the possibility to seat up to 4
x-ray cassettes.
The TMS 300R version, which is equipped with
rotating arm ± 90°, allows the use of the device in a very simple and easy way,
when placed side by side to the patient bed and/or incubator.
